“We sent you a letter, and you didn’t reply so we renewed your contract”
“Really? When did you send the letter?”
“I’m not sure, but it would have been between 120 and 91 days of the end of your contract.”
“So when was that?”
“I don’t know; you’d have to check a calendar”
“So when was I supposed to reply?”
“Within ten days of getting the letter”
“What? You sent a letter, but you don’t know when and I have to reply within ten days of that unknown date? That makes no sense at all. Do you have any proof that you sent the letter?”
“Sorry, no.”
“Fine, I’d like to cancel my contract.”
“Sorry, you can’t do that, as you didn’t reply to the letter.”
“The one that you can’t prove you sent and don’t know when you sent it?”
